Inspiring Art by Alex Haunty, Friend of Overture
In 2015, Alex Haunty, art entrepreneur, young philanthropist and a former patient at American Family Children’s Hospital, was commissioned by UW Health to paint six large pieces to help patients and families find their way on the first floor of the children’s hospital. He chose to paint a series of flowers called “Paintings of Love to Bring Hope and Healing,” expressing Alex’s desire for others to feel loved, be encouraged, be healed and to have hope.
We’re excited to celebrate Alex and his big heart as he unveils his work at American Family Children’s Hospital TUE, OCT 18, 5 – 7 PM

Alex was named Young Philanthropist of the Year for the Madison Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He sells his paintings to buy tickets for disabled people to see Broadway shows at Overture Center.
Congratulations Alex on another wonderful endeavor!
