The Madison Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and Conductor John DeMain close the season with a memorable concert, opening with Charles Stanford’s rarely-heard Concert Piece for Organ and Orchestra, featuring the return of organist Nathan Laube. The Madison Symphony Chorus, soprano Devon Guthrie and bass-baritone Timothy Jones then join the MSO for Brahms’ most profound choral work, A German Requiem: an uplifting meditation on death, redemption and comfort for the living.
