Tony Award® nominee Brandon Uranowitz makes his concert debut at Overture Center.
Fresh off his acclaimed turn as Mendel in the Broadway revival of Falsettos, Brandon gets up close and personal with audiences while sharing songs by the one-and-only Tony Award®-winning William Finn and his experience in the Gershwin musical An American In Paris.
Expect everything from Finn’s In Trousers to Falsettos to A New Brain to Elegies, with some Gershwin sprinkled in. He lends his unstoppable talent to a selection of work from our greatest living Broadway writers. At turns hilarious and soaringly emotional, this is one evening you won’t want to miss.
Brandon was Tony®-nominated for originating the role of Adam Hochberg in An American In Paris. He was in the national tour of RENT and original cast of Baby It’s You! His performance in Falsettos was called “warmly funny and convincingly neurotic” by The New York Times and “wholly endearing” by Entertainment Weekly.

This unique musical dining experience begins with hors d’oeuvres in the Capitol Theater Lobby, followed by a gourmet dinner served on the historic Capitol Theater stage, which is transformed into an elegant nightclub for the evening’s performance:
• Spinach and beet salad with honey walnuts, feta cheese and rosemary and garlic bread twist, served with balsamic vinaigrette.
• Sautéed shrimp with roasted zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, green beans over spinach fettuccine. Tossed in a lemon herb butter sauce and fresh parmesan cheese.
• Lemon olive oil cake with lemon curd and fresh seasonal fruit.
• Vegetarian option: Substitute portabella mushrooms for shrimp. (only available by calling Catering a Fresco at 608.258.4436)
