Featuring visual artist Ray Zovar
Ray Zovar has known he was an artist since his early years growing up in Milwaukee. Zovar’s work has included numerous commissions in diverse media —- (fused glass, metals, marble, granite, acrylic and oil paint, sculptures, fountains and furniture) for a wide variety of individual patrons and institutions.
Zovar created the illuminated light sculptures as an illusionary interplay between color and light. These 360° paintings seem to move as light transforms the abstractions into a mesmerizing ambience. Each piece has its own relationship to the viewer ─ adaptable and ever changing. Subconsciously the viewer is taken from a point of observing to assimilating.
Zovar believes art should transcend time. Each generation should see something new and relevant to their own era, a style that will look as fresh tomorrow as it does today.
