Overture Center’s 2022/23 season offers diverse artistic expressions, cultures and personality
Overture Center’s 2022/23 season―revealed at a live, in-person event in Overture Hall this evening―showcases an array of diverse artistic expressions, cultures and personality. Fans of the performing arts can choose from seven “Broadway at Overture” titles―including four Madison premieres―and more than 30 other national and international shows, including three Cabaret performances, four National Geographic Live shows and a new musical experience, “Up Close.”

Overture Center’s 2022/23 season will be revealed to donors, subscribers and special guests at a live, in-person event in Overture Hall on Monday, May 2 at 7pm. The free event, hosted by Chief Artistic Experiences Officer Tim Sauers and Director of Broadway Engagement Programs Karra Beach, will include an in-depth overview of over 40 upcoming Broadway and Overture Presents shows. The evening will also feature special guests, live performances and videos from some of the season’s featured artists. Plus, you won’t want to miss the announcement of a new music series at Overture!

Overture Center announces additional “Overture Presents” 2021/22 season performances
At Overture Center for the Arts, we look forward to welcoming back artists and patrons to our world-class facility starting in September. Our fall and winter “Overture Presents” shows were announced in May. Now 15 more shows have been added to the schedule, giving patrons more options for subscription packages and nights out with family and friends

Overture Center announces Broadway will return to Madison with a rescheduled 2021/22 Broadway season
In a special live virtual announcement this evening with Broadway at Overture season subscribers, Overture Center revealed its 2021/22 Broadway at Overture lineup of shows. Most 2020/21 shows were rescheduled to the 2021/22 season, and HAIRSPRAY was added. Along with these changes, we are thrilled to announce HAMILTON will return to Madison as the final show of the 2021/22 season. Unfortunately, Disney’s THE LION KING and OKLAHOMA! were not able to be rescheduled, and we hope to present them in a future season.
