Celebrate the Return of Mamma Mia! with Opening Night Wedding
As many as four Broadway-loving couples will tie the knot in preshow ceremony; All invited to reception after curtain
There’s a wedding, and you’re invited!
Local residents Najme Krasniqi and Faton Ibrahim will exchange vows in a ceremony before the opening night performance of Mamma Mia!, the hit musical featuring the music of pop supergroup ABBA, and you’re invited to celebrate with cake and dancing after the show on Tuesday, April 28.
The ceremony, officiated by Sun Prairie Municipal Judge Tom Hebl, will take place in the Overture Hall Lobby at 6:50 pm, just before the doors to the theater open. The show begins at 7:30 pm. Two members of the cast of Mamma Mia! will serve as witnesses.
An hourlong wedding reception featuring music, dancing, free cake and cash bar will take place in the Overture Hall Lobby immediately following the performance, beginning around 10:15 pm.
The entire community is invited to both the ceremony and reception, though if you’re planning on coming down, you might as well get tickets to the show!
