The premier performance groups representing the Jerry Awards in Central and Southern Wisconsin featuring select vocal performers from schools participating in the Jerry Awards program. Students are selected through auditions each year. The Central Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble is directed by Marshall DeLonay and the Southern Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble is directed by Gail Becker. Students in both groups build their technical skills in acting, singing and dancing.

AUDITION DATE: Sunday, April 6, - 1pm - 5pm

AUDITION INFORMATION
PART 1: Students should prepare ONE (1) full song in the style of musical theater, may be either a ballad or an up-tempo piece. Music should be double-side and secured in a three-ring binder in the correct key with the cut clearly marked. An accompanist will be provided.
PART 2: Students will receive music for a song from Karra Beach the week of the audition. Students should prepare to perform this piece as part of their audition.
PART 3: Students will be given a piece to sight-read at the audition.
Students will be notified via email if they are selected for the group approximately one week after the audition.
The Jerry Ensemble has performed in front of a variety of audiences in a variety of settings. Performances have included:
- Cabaret performance
- Opening the Jerry Awards Ceremony
- Performing with Kristin Chenoweth
- Overture’s Broadway audience engagement series Cocktails with Tim & Karra,
- National Anthem at UW Basketball Games
- Performance at Kids in the Rotunda
