BDDS’s 29th season, “Riches to Rags,” starts with the riches of Beethoven’s piano trios and ends with the great rags of Scott Joplin and others. In “Fortune Favors the Bold,” Russian accordion virtuoso Stas Venglevski joins Stephanie Jutt, flute, and the San Francisco Piano Trio in a program that features music that may have been considered too bold for its time. Visual artist Lisa A. Frank will create an exquisite video installation behind the performers on stage.

Ludwig van Beethoven: “Kakadu” Variations for piano trio, op. 121a
