Growing up in New Orleans is a multi-layered experience. Growing up in New Orleans the gay son of a minister is a singular EVENT. Joey Taranto’s “New Orleans Man” is a delicious blend of hilarious stories and Deep South soul singing. It features music that spans decades and genres and frames our lives with a little NOLA flair.
Joey Taranto is a proud native New Orleanian who has been performing his entire life. He was in the original casts of “Kinky Boots” and “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark” and starred in “Rock of Ages,” all on Broadway. Most recently, he was seen in Jim Steinman’s “Bat out of Hell” at New York City Center as well as his sold-out solo show “Dude Sings like a Lady” at Joe’s Pub. He was also featured in “Jesus Christ Superstar Live” on NBC!
Ticket price includes dinner.
