Violinist James Ehnes and John DeMain’s Madison Symphony Orchestra team up for an event of colossal talent; featuring Madison-resident Harbison’s The Most Often Used Chords, Brahms’ Violin Concerto, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, the eponymous program is one of both supreme quality and musicianship.

About James Ehnes
James Ehnes has established himself as one of the foremost violinists of his generation. Ehnes has an extensive discography and has won many awards for his recordings including several Grammys. Ehnes graduated from The Juilliard School in 1997, winning the Peter Mennin Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Leadership in Music. He is the Artistic Director of the Seattle Chamber Music Society.
