Attend all six programs during Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society’s chamber music festival, which include insightful commentary and delightful surprises. Led by artistic directors Stephanie Jutt (flute) and Jeffrey Sykes (piano), you’ll hear diverse repertoire played by an ensemble of distinguished musicians from Wisconsin and around the country. Virtuoso violinist Axel Strauss, an artist of the highest distinction, will brave gravity-defying musical heights in “Quadruple Axel.” He will be joined by four others including the elegant French cellist Jean-Michel Fonteneau and Russian virtuoso accordion player Stas Venglevski. Venglevski performs on the bayan, a Russian-style accordion noted for its deep bass sound and range and purity of tone.
