BDDS’s 29th season, “Riches to Rags,” starts with the riches of Beethoven’s piano trios and ends with the great rags of Scott Joplin and others. Glorious soprano Emily Birsan joins Stephanie Jutt, flute, and the San Francisco Piano Trio in “Trash to Treasure,” a program that shows how some composers are masters at turning musical “garbage” into gold. Visual artist Lisa A. Frank will create an exquisite video installation behind the performers on stage.
