Guest Expectations

Overture Center for the Arts is committed to providing extraordinary experiences through the arts in a safe, respectful environment for everyone.

Below are our expectations for all who visit our venues:

1. Inclusion & Respect
We welcome all people, regardless of background or identity. Please treat everyone—fellow guests, staff, volunteers and community members—with courtesy and respect.

2. Mindful Speech & Actions
We do not tolerate harmful language or behaviors. This includes bullying, harassment, hate speech and deliberate misuse of names or pronouns.

3. Personal Boundaries
Respect the physical and personal space of others. Unwanted or inappropriate contact, remarks or gestures of any kind are not allowed.

4. Engaged Audiences
We encourage enthusiastic responses to performances and events. However, behavior that is disruptive, disparaging or harmful to artists, staff, volunteers or guests will not be tolerated.

5. Shared Well-Being
Please follow Overture’s health, safety and security policies. If you choose to consume alcoholic beverages, do so responsibly and in accordance with venue regulations. Unauthorized recording devices are not permitted unless otherwise specified.

6. Accountability
Guests who violate these expectations may be asked to leave without a refund. If you experience or witness misconduct, report it to an Overture staff member or contact us at info@overture.org.

By working together, we ensure that Overture remains a welcoming and inspiring place for all. Thank you for your cooperation.
