Overture Hall

Capacity: 2,255 | Levels: Orchestra, Circle, Mezzanine, Balcony 

Offering an awe-inspiring view from stage and an unparalleled atmosphere, Overture Hall is the largest venue in Overture Center. From Broadway blockbusters and comedy legends to mesmerizing theater productions and unforgettable concerts, this iconic space welcomes international, national and local acts.

Capitol Theater

Capacity: 1,089 | Levels: Orchestra, Balcony 

Originally opened in 1928 as a silent movie palace, Capitol Theater is a stunning blend of history and elegance. Restored to its original splendor, the theater boasts glittering chandeliers, ornate wall sconces and a timeless charm along with the Grand Barton Organ, built in 1927 and still in working condition. Known for its exceptional acoustics, there’s not a bad seat in the house.

The Playhouse

Capacity: 347 | Levels: Orchestra, Balcony 

The smallest of Overture’s three main theaters, The Playhouse is an intimate, sleek space with a low-thrust stage that allows easy access between the stage and the house, perfect for an up close and personal performance. Located on the lower level of Overture with direct access from our Henry Street entrance.

Promenade Hall

Capacity: 162-250 seated, 480 standing | Single level with pull-out bleacher seating 

Located on the second level, Promenade Hall is an elegant and versatile space designed to accommodate numerous types of events. Its sprung Brazilian cherry wood floor, customizable lighting and optional bleacher seating makes it adaptable to your needs, whether they be music, theater or dance. Direct access to Promenade Terrace provides nearby space for a pre- or post-show gathering. 

Wisconsin Studio

Capacity: 150 | Flexible seating

Located on the third floor, Wisconsin Studio is a bright, airy space with natural light from its high-placed windows. This flexible black-box space boasts sprung maple wood floor and angled maple paneling, creating a spacious ambiance, perfect for a variety of events.

Rotunda Stage

Capacity: 200-300 | Flexible seating

The Rotunda Stage is an indoor amphitheater with circular bench seating surrounding an elevated thrust stage. Located directly below Overture Center’s signature oculus, the stage is partially open to the main lobby and floors above. Its colorful walls and casual seating make the Rotunda Stage a perfect space for community events, children’s programs, music recitals and more.

Rotunda Studio

Capacity: 100 | Flexible seating

Located on Overture Center’s lower level, the Rotunda Studio’s theatrical details and simple finishes make it a good fit for art exhibitions, dances, rehearsals, meet-and-greets and a variety of other gatherings. Amenities include split-face concrete block walls that provide sound absorption, a resilient sprung maple wood floor (painted black) and two-sided curtains that run on tracks for ease of maneuvering.
