The Rhythms of History: Exploring Cultural Heritage through Movement

Description: Through combining rhythm and movement with words and sounds, students create and share their collaborative-history vignettes, uncovering their cultural ancestry and immigrations to America. Students learn basic movement, rhythm, voice projection and collaborative problem solving through structured learning activities and improvisation.

Wild Things: Move n’ Groove Inside our World Habitats

Description: In this residency your students bring Earth’s habitats to life by animating the animals interacting in their home surroundings and unique environments. After investigating their habitat, the students transform and demonstrate the amazing animals that co-exist using collected research, learned dance movement, creative body expression and inspirational music.
