CONTINUED INTERMISSION FOR PRELUDE
PRELUDE will not be returning in the 21/22 season and will remain in intermission until further notice. The arts industry has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and Overture is working to restore what was lost. Some of our programs will take time to return, and others may not return. We are carefully considering many factors, including available budget and staff capacity.
Every artist deserves a spotlight. PRELUDE was an education and engagement program designed to mentor local artists, companies and organizations in producing performance based productions in Promenade Hall. Through the program, Overture Center subsidized equipment and space rental and provided guidance in production areas such as event management, ticketing, marketing, education and technical production. Applicants were nonprofit 501©3 organizations and have experience in mounting theatrical productions or performance events. PRELUDE cannot support fund raising activities.
