This is a facility rental event presented by an independent organization separate from Overture Center for the Arts.

Urban Triage is hosting its first Black Brilliance Gala fundraiser, an all-black formal affair. Enjoy an elegant evening of food, fun and music showcasing and celebrate the unsung heroes of our community.

Proceeds will support Urban Triage’s new dynamic initiative: Supporting Healthy Black Employment. Supporting Healthy Black Employment is a program designed to promote employment opportunities for Black and vulnerable individuals in partnership with Prodigal System Academy. The program offers extensive training in carpentry with a focus on wood framing, to provide participants with the necessary skills for a successful career in residential and commercial carpentry. Upon completion, participants receive OSHA certification and are placed with a local construction company for full-time employment. Urban Triage provides wrap-around support services to the participants during the employment process in addition to our Supporting Healthy Black Families curriculum. Their goal is to equip individuals with the tools needed for a successful career and to support their overall well-being
