Masterworks II - Norwegian Fantasy

From an early age Vladyslava Luchenko developed a deep love for music and she was from the beginning keenly aware of wanting make it her life’s dedication.

This spontaneously expressed wish was lovingly nurtured by her parents: just five years old, she received her first piano and violin lessons at the local music school.

Her rapidly discovered perfect pitch connected with a rare innate musical intuition were developed immediately and attentively. With these unusual predispositions Vladyslava was admitted at the age of seven to the Lysenko Music School for highlygifted children in Kiev where she studied until 2006.

After winning the first prize in an international competition she gave her debut at the age of 11 as a soloist with the Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra. With this early success she attracted the attention of the Vladimir Spivakov Institution in Moscow and the corporation " Friends of  Ukraine in Switzerland.” This support helped her continue to win of numerous prizes from national and international violin and chamber music competitions. She was also invited to perform on numerous concert tours in Switzerland, Spain, Poland, Ukraine and Russia.

During this time Vladyslava Luchenko made acquaintance with professor Zakhar Bron, who invited her in 2006 to study in his class at the Zurich University of the Arts.

Her new tutor provided the impulse which led to new achievements such as the first prize in the Duttweiler-Hug Wettbewerb in Zurich, the second prize in the  Concorso Internazionale Violinistico Andrea Postacchini in Fermo, Italy and the second prize in the Concours International de Violon Tibor Varga in Martigny, where she also  won the Public Prize and the Special Prize for the best interpretation of a work study  from B. Bártok.

As a part of the first prize of the Rahn-Musik Prize in 2010, she gave a concert with the Luzerner Symphony Orchestra in the Tonhalle Zurich. During her musical study she was awarded a one-year scholarship of the Marguerite Meister Institution and she received the study prize of the “Migros Cultural percent” contest in Zurich twice.

In 2012 she graduated successfully from the Concert Exam program and continued her education with professor Stephan Picard in the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. In 2013 she won the "Rotary Excellence Price " in Lugano.

Since 2014 Vladyslava is in the Artist Diploma Programm of the "Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel" in Belgium where she is continues to find new inspiration, supervised by the renowned violinist and conductor Augustin Dumay. During her studies at Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel Vladyslava is generously supported by Foundation Borgerhoff, which followed and supported her many artistic projects, took actively part in developing her career and helped to finance a lot of video and audio material, as well the current website.

Recently Vladyslava Luchenko performed as a soloist with the Ukrainian Radio Orchestra and State Orchestra, the Verbier Festival Orchestra, and the Luzerner Symphony Orchestra, as well as with the Orchestra Virtuosi Italiani and the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie in 2014.
