Kick off the New Year with a dive into the heart of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As the world's largest arts festival, it offers a kaleidoscope of talent and spectacle. Our three-day mini-festival showcases top acts from last year, including cutting-edge theater, side-splitting comedy, mesmerizing drag and jaw-dropping cirque acts. Join us for one performance or delight in all five. You’ll get a glimpse into the electrifying energy of the Fringe, with the best of the best straight from the stages that set Edinburgh ablaze.

Beginner Musical Improv Workshop

World-renowned musical improvisation ensemble Baby Wants Candy will lead an engaging, interactive workshop designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of musical improvisation.

About the workshop:

The workshop will focus on building confidence, trusting your instincts and embracing emotions on stage through music and scenic work. Students will learn to support each other’s choices and explore the basic tenets of musical improv. No prior improv or musical experience is required. This workshop is ideal for beginners, regardless of whether you think you can "sing." 

With over two decades of experience teaching students of all ages worldwide, Baby Wants Candy has helped thousands discover the joy of musical improv. By the end of the workshop, you'll be ready to improvise songs with confidence!

Limited to 40 participants. A ticket to a Fringe Festival performance is not required to purchase a ticket to the workshop.
