The Social Change Forum is back! After a five-year absence, the day-long Social Change Forum returns on Thursday, March 6 from 8:30am to 4:30pm, followed by a happy hour reception for participants to continue connecting and celebrating.
The event, themed “Trust and Surrender,” will examine “the five building blocks of collaboration,” including self-awareness, transformational leadership, conflict resolution, facilitation and friendliness. The goal is for participants to not only find deeper trust in their skills and talents but also to surrender to what is being created for them in the process. The day will surprise, elevate and induce joy!
The event will include a lunch for attendees from Short Stack Eatery; a happy hour reception; a morning presentation from Ronda Davis of the University of Wisconsin Literacy Link; a keynote address from Ananda De Oliveira Mirilli, co-founder of Nina Collective Cooperative; and additional facilitators and speakers Monica Mims, Gregg Potter, Alder Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford, Veronica Figueroa Velez, Mathias Lemos Castillo, LaCuoir Yancey and Mary Beth Collins.
