Wood is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose music blends heartfelt lyricism with masterful musicianship. Named iTunes Songwriter of the Year, Wood has spent his career crafting songs that resonate deeply, earning multiple JUNO and Canadian Folk Music Award nominations.

Wood’s eighth studio album, "What Tomorrow Brings," created with iconic producers Linda Perry (Adele, Alicia Keys) and Jamie Scott (Ed Sheeran, Michael Kiwanuka), marks his most emotionally resonant work yet—an intimate exploration of love, loss and new beginnings. Lauded for its raw honesty and stunning melodies, the 2022 release was up "For Your Consideration" for Best Folk Album at the 2024 Grammys and has earned over 15 million streams worldwide, with songs featured in hit shows like "Grey’s Anatomy" and "Private Practice."

From intimate ballads to soaring anthems, Wood delivers a live performance as captivating as his recordings. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of music from one of Canada’s most celebrated artists.

Meet the Artist

Royal Wood

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Royal Wood has established himself as a true musical talent. Since being proclaimed “Songwriter of the Year” by iTunes, Wood has continued to evolve and hone his musical craft while maintaining a unique identity.

His eighth full-length studio album, 2022’s “What Tomorrow Brings,” was recently up “For Your Consideration” for Best Folk Album at the 2024 Grammys. With this album, Wood reaches new emotional depths and delivers his most powerful collection of music to date. Crafted alongside world-renowned producers Linda Perry (Adele, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera) and Jamie Scott (Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber), the album draws from deeply personal points in Wood’s life, effectively capturing the emotion of these moments.

“During the writing of this album, I lost a parent, fell in love, got married and became a father. These experiences allowed me to write from a place of pure vulnerability and create the most carefully crafted and inspired lyrics of my career,” he said.

Wood has received multiple JUNO nominations, five Canadian Folk Music Award nominations and a #1 added song at Hot AC Radio. Having seen high-profile features on programs such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice,” his catalogue has amassed over 15 million streams worldwide.

Most recently, his single “A Good Enough Day” was used in a TV campaign that generated a surge in Spotify attention that is now approaching three million streams. Capturing the same sonic and emotional depth of these recordings, Wood translates his songs into astounding live performances. This live prowess has led to headline performances in world-class venues like Massey Hall in Toronto and The Paradiso in Amsterdam, as well as “special guest” billing on full national tours for globally celebrated artists such as Bonnie Raitt and David Gray.
